After my PhD defense, I was so ambitious to find a job and I was so confident about my skills in Machine learning, then, after many interviews in the industry I started to feel like I should do more, learn more, I started to say, well, I worked on small medical datasets, what about big data, should I start another master degree to have skills in Big data?! what about other hot topics in AI? I started to do many courses in many areas without finding my way, I did a lot but I felt like I am not doing enough! If you are in the same situation continue reading, please...

After a long time, I understood that it is totally normal to live this situation! Simply because when doing your Phd in a topic you go in depth and details and you are focusing about your research field...However, In the market, recruiters are searching for someone who could solve a real problem for their projects, and if you are not hired simply because it is not your area, you should continue believing in yourself because you are expert in your field and you will never be able to know everything! Science is too huge!

In addition, all teams want to hire a real team player, a great collaborator who can add a real value with his motivation, hard work and someone who is eager to know more, to do more, to dream big and work to achieve that!

Be yourself, believe on yourself, never stoplearning and you will achieve your biggest dream!

Hope that this message help students who didn’t find yet their ways :)
If your like this post, I will do more because I have a lot to share especially in my field: Machine learning&data science&motivation 😉
